Job Overview:

Responsible for ownership of category planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle and the growth of the base business by bringing profitable innovation to the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end innovation process, from opportunity identification and business/ line review development through commercialization oversight and launch approval.
  • Oversee product costing, specifications, packaging, sensory evaluations, and production readiness to ensure commercially successful and scalable innovation.
  • Continuously challenge cross-functional teams to leverage market trends, consumer insights, and customers' needs to deliver differentiated, leading-edge innovations.
  • Foster collaboration across Category Marketing and Customer Marketing teams by sharing best practices, building knowledge-sharing processes, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute multi-year customer strategy by translating consumer, customer, and category insights into growth opportunities that deliver long-term business objectives.
  • Align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders around strategic priorities to deliver annual sales objectives and long-term growth targets.
  • Regularly analyze customer performance within Give & Go, assessing wins, losses, key business drivers, risks, and opportunities to provide insight-led recommendations that improve business outcomes.
  • Drive disciplined project execution by establishing clear priorities, ensuring accountability, and delivering strategic initiatives and business reviews on time.

  • Actively live and role model our Leadership competencies by holding self and function (including all direct report leaders') accountable for creating a positive work environment and culture through administration of our People Processes and Tools.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and development of all staff by completing induction process, coaching and developing capabilities, executing PDP start/mid-year dialogues and performance calibration, and engaging in corrective action when required.
  • Participate in and develop succession plans adhering to the MDLZ STR process.
  • Ensure completion of function compliance training.
  • Make recommendations for staff merit and bonus targets (where applicable).
  • Ensure an engaged workforce through strategic workforce planning and creation/execution of Employee Survey action plans.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and drive initiatives forward.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
