Full Job Description
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $185,000 annually, depending on the candidate's location, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead the monthly and quarterly close and oversee key areas of corporate and operational accounting. Reporting to the Global Controller, this role will serve as the engine of a timely, accurate, and well-controlled global close. The Senior Manager will own the general ledger, close calendar, and day-to-day accounting activities that keep the Company's financial records reliable and audit-ready.

This individual will lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals while partnering closely with regional finance teams, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and business operations. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on operational leadership and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Work Schedule: Schedule fluctuates based on workloads during weekdays with afterhours / weekend work as needed

Responsibilities
  • Own and streamline the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the global close calendar, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, consolidating entries, and financial statement tie-outs. Developing a standard set of performance metrics to measure completion status, reconciliation quality, late adjustments, recurring issues, and time required to close.
  • Coordinate with regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions, consistent application of accounting policies, and clear accountability for close deliverables.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate accounting team by establishing clear ownership, review standards, deadlines, and professional-development expectations.
  • Oversee key corporate accounting areas, including cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, leases, intangible assets, payroll-related accounts, and other general ledger activities.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and consistently in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Company accounting policies.
  • Oversee multi-entity and multi-currency accounting activities, including intercompany transactions, balance confirmations, settlements, eliminations, and foreign-currency matters.
  • Review balance-sheet reconciliations and income-statement variance analyses, ensuring reconciling items are resolved promptly and significant developments are clearly communicated to leadership.
  • Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and operational accounting processes by establishing clear documentation, review procedures, approval requirements, and evidence of control performance.
  • Support annual audits and other financial reviews by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation and coordinating timely responses to auditor requests.
  • Partner with FP&A to explain actual results, significant period-over-period movements, and matters affecting forecasts or management reporting.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired businesses, including the alignment of accounting policies, close procedures, charts of accounts, systems, and reporting requirements.
  • Drive process improvement, automation and a controls framework across the accounting function by identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency through NetSuite, close-management tools, reporting platforms, operational systems, and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications
  • 8+ or more years of progressive accounting experience, including significant responsibility for corporate or general ledger accounting within a complex, multi-entity organization.
  • Strong foundation in public accounting preferred; Big Four or other national accounting firm experience is a plus.
  • Experience in private-equity-portfolio-company reporting.
  • Demonstrated ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including close-calendar management, journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statement tie-outs.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment involving multiple legal entities, currencies, regional finance teams, and intercompany activity.
  • People-leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and hold accounting teams accountable for high-quality and timely results.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience operating within a disciplined internal-control environment.
