Full Job Description
CLEAR is looking for a modern, highly strategic communications leader to drive earned media and bring our biggest partnerships, products, and company moments to market. You'll build a proactive communications engine across CLEAR1, CLEAR+, and other key initiatives, developing the strategy while rolling up your sleeves to write, pitch, launch, and execute the work.

What you'll do:
  • Own communications approach and execution for major CLEAR announcements, partnerships and launches across CLEAR1, CLEAR+, and other priority areas of the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national, business, technology, travel and trade media, as well as new media types, proactively developing stories and opportunities that drive awareness, consideration and understanding of CLEAR
  • Turn business priorities into compelling narratives and integrated communications plans, identifying how earned media, executive visibility, partners, owned channels and other communications levers can work together to maximize impact
  • Lead announcements from idea through execution, developing messaging, writing press materials, pitching media, preparing spokespeople, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring flawless launch execution
  • Build the processes, rhythms and tools that make CLEAR's communications function increasingly proactive and scalable, creating visibility into upcoming moments and identifying opportunities to tell a bigger, more connected CLEAR story

How you'll measure success:
  • Quality, relevance and reach of earned media coverage across priority audiences and outlets
  • Share of voice and positive sentiment around CLEAR's priority products, partnerships and company narratives
  • Awareness and consideration generated by communications campaigns and major announcements
  • Growth in proactive storytelling opportunities and consistent execution against CLEAR's communications calendar

What you're great at:
  • 8+ years of communications, public relations or media relations experience, with a track record of personally developing and executing high-impact announcements and earned media strategies
  • Exceptional media relations instincts and strong reporter relationships, with the ability to identify what makes a story compelling and earn attention in a rapidly changing media landscape
  • Strategic storytelling-you can understand complex business objectives, find the story within them and build a communications approach that reaches the right audiences through the right channels
  • Operating as both a builder and a doer-you're energized by creating new processes and strategies, but equally comfortable writing the press release, pitching the story and owning the details required to get an announcement over the finish line
  • Cross-functional leadership and excellent judgment-you can create clarity among senior leaders, business teams and external partners, manage multiple high-priority workstreams and move quickly in an environment where priorities evolve
  • Experience and deep curiosity and excitement, about how AI can be used to accelerate communications, outcomes, and performance.

How You'll be Rewarded:

Our offices are bright and energetic with an open concept and plenty of conference rooms and casual co-working spaces. We also offer catered lunches every day and have fully stocked kitchens.
