Job DescriptionEquinox seeks a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Manager to join our Procurement team. The Senior Manager, Club Operations Procurement manages the company's sourcing strategy, supplier management, and commercial execution for club level goods and services purchases for all clubs. This role serves as the primary procurement partner to Operations ensuring club purchases are competitively sourced, contractually protected, delivered on budget, and aligned with company procurement policies. This role reports into our Senior Director of Procurement and sits at our headquarters in Hudson Yards.
The role is accountable for developing and executing procurement strategies supporting all club supplies, maintenances, utilities, repairs, outsourced services, and other strategic initiatives. The position manages relationships with key suppliers and service contractors.
Responsibilities - Develop and execute club sourcing strategies to align with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Drive competitive sourcing to maximize value, cost savings, long-term business benefits, and mitigate risks.
- Identify opportunities to leverage preferred suppliers, supplier consolidation, category optimization, and company purchasing agreements.
- Lead sourcing activities for purchases through contract lifecycle, PO compliance, and invoice-to-contract checks with AP.
- Partner with Operations, Facilities, and Finance to ensure alignment on budget, specs, and timelines.
- Support business cases through market intelligence, budgeting support, should-cost analysis, and supplier benchmarking.
- Negotiate commercial terms, payment structures, service agreements, warranties, performance guarantees, and risk allocation provisions.
Qualifications- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement
- RFP modeling and contract negotiation background a must
- Strong leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of the role and support in supporting operations.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems- D365 a plus
- Experience in logistics sourcing and understanding of transportation market pricing and cost drivers.
- Experience in customs compliance, completing and ensuring submission of all documents a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Pay Transparency: $150k - $165k
