About the roleAs a Senior Manager, Cloud Security, you will drive enterprise-scale cloud security remediation across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform environments. You will collaborate with engineering, identity, privacy, compliance, and other stakeholders to strengthen cloud security controls and reduce organizational risk.

In this role, you will:- Lead enterprise cloud security remediation initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP, helping ensure critical security findings are addressed within established service levels.
- Drive efforts to reduce public cloud exposure through private endpoints, private links, secure network architectures, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Develop and maintain policy-as-code frameworks, reusable security templates, and automation that support secure cloud deployments and compliance enforcement.
- Oversee the cloud security remediation lifecycle, using security monitoring platforms and risk-based prioritization to improve remediation effectiveness and resolution timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, identity, privacy, compliance, and other cross-functional teams to integrate cloud security controls and practices into development and operational workflows.
What you must have to be considered- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Six or more years of cybersecurity experience, including at least four years focused on cloud security.
- Two or more years of experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in cloud security or cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience working across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience remediating enterprise-scale cloud security control deficiencies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking security, including private endpoints, hub-and-spoke architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
- Knowledge of cloud identity, least-privilege access models, and privileged access management.
- Experience with cloud security automation, policy-enforcement tools, and cloud security monitoring solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable scripting language.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting technical metrics and program progress to leadership.

These will help you succeed- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, CRISC, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Master's degree in information security or a related discipline.
- Experience with container and Kubernetes security.
- Experience automating cloud-account provisioning and landing-zone implementation at scale.
- Experience supporting cloud security remediation programs within large, global organizations.
- Strong understanding of cloud attack paths and identity-focused threats.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 - $145,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
