Full Job Description
Major Responsibilities
  • Leads end-to-end execution of DOE California Water Utilities and EPC energy/storage projects, managing cross-functional teams (engineering, contractors, permitting, utilities) from development through commissioning and handoff to service
  • Serves as primary client interface, overseeing project reporting, documentation (minutes, action logs), and commercial coordination with water utility stakeholders and DOE requirements
  • Develops and manages scopes of work, subcontractor agreements, change orders, and project financials, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, accounting, and cost performance
  • Oversees project scheduling and execution, maintaining master and short-term schedules, tracking delays, and ensuring delivery aligns with approved specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Provides leadership and direction to project teams and field personnel, promoting safety, operational standards, and effective coordination across subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and reporting requirements while driving project performance, customer satisfaction, and successful transition to operations

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent experience


Certification / License

Work Experience

  • 7 years of experience as a project manager with P&L responsibility
  • 3+ year of experience as a project manager for complex EPC or Industrial projects (such as water, power, oil & gas, nuclear industries)


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen

Preferred Job Requirements

Education
