Job Title:Senior Maintenance Engineer
Job Description:The Role:The Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the maintenance organization in an effort to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and decrease maintenance costs. The role works closely with the maintenance team to provide both day-to-day support as well as longer term, strategic guidance to the organization.
In this role you will: - Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of failed equipment to determine what failed, why, and what must be done to prevent future recurrence
- Maintain listing of "bad actor" equipment that poses significant risk to OEE and maintenance costs; develop action plans to address bad actors
- Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules and protocols for critical machinery
- Utilize predictive maintenance tools and data analytics to anticipate and address equipment issues before they impact production
- Collaborate with engineering teams on the design, modification, and optimization of production equipment and systems
- Provide training to maintenance staff on equipment maintenance procedures
- Conduct analyses of spare parts to ensure stock is adequate to support business needs.
WHAT WEEK SEEK:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong technical problem-solving acumen
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar setting
- 2+ years of experience in the Maintenance Department
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; must build relationships and trust with teams
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop solutions; must identify and collaborate with multiple resources to resolve issues
- Knowledge of complex process systems and the hazards, failure modes, and maintenance of the associated equipment
- Trained in Root Cause Failure Analysis and has led investigation meetings
- Understanding of various maintenance restoration techniques and methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, or other predictive maintenance technologies.
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), or similar reliability methodologies.
- Experience managing or supporting capital projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles.
Outstanding candidates will have:- Experience managing capital projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, contractor coordination, and project closeout.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, maintainability, and cost reduction.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve energy efficiency, equipment uptime, and maintenance effectiveness.

- Maintenance cost performance
- Ability to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets to achieve greater levels of efficiency and manufacturing robustness.
- Ability to manage time and balance short term needs of the day-to-day production environment with long term project deliverables and timelines.

- Compensation: $91,000 - $114,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
