Position Overview:We are looking for a machine learning engineer to kick start our efforts to predict printability of complex part geometry. The ideal candidate will have experience in organizing data and developing machine learning models on geometric data.
Responsibilities- Build a printability model: Work with the process, preprint and applications team to develop ML models using image, thermal, simulation and other sensors to predict the printability of complex CAD models.
- Help define our data collection processes: Design, develop, and help maintain structured and unstructured databases that support data ingestion, storage, and retrieval from diverse data streams.
- Deploy models into production: work with the preprint team to deploy the developed models into production.
QualificationsRequired
- Experience with machine learning pipelines particularly on geometric data.
- Experience working in a production software engineering environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python or C++.
Preferred
- Experience with powder bed fusion based manufacturing
- Knowledge of manufacturing data workflows, IoT sensor data, or industrial automation systems.
$155,000 - $200,000 a year

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this full-time position is between $155,000 and $200,000. This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position in the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, job-related skills, related education, work location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. In addition to a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and equity program, as applicable.
