Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in building Java-based services and modern frontend applications. The role involves leading features end-to-end and delivering scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant solutions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, AWS cloud services, modern UI frameworks, API development, observability, containerization, and AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant Java-based microservices and distributed systems.
• Lead features end-to-end, from design and development through deployment and ongoing support.
• Utilize AI-assisted code-generation tools, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar technologies, to improve development productivity.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS core services.
• Build modern frontend applications using at least one of the following frameworks: Next.js, Nuxt.js, React, Vue, Astro, or Svelte.
• Develop and maintain APIs using REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
• Generate and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
• Implement observability practices using tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace, including metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and auditing.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using ECS, Fargate, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities using Amazon Bedrock or similar services.
• Develop backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, and Spring AI.
• Work with AWS services, including ECS, Fargate, Bedrock, IAM, VPC, and serverless components.
• Apply microservices architecture, distributed systems principles, and event-driven messaging to build reliable applications.
Required Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Java-based application development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, and related technologies.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework: Next.js, Nuxt.js, React, Vue, Astro, or Svelte.
• Strong API development skills, including REST, GraphQL, and event-driven messaging.
• Experience generating API documentation using Swagger.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace, including metrics, logging, distributed tracing, and auditing.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, particularly AWS ECS and Fargate.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock or similar AI/ML service integrations.
• Ability to lead technical features end-to-end and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.
