The Advanced Airborne RF Sensors team within the SE&TC Center is seeking a Senior Lab Hardware Coordinator to support hardware integration and testing in a fast-paced engineering lab. The role ensures the readiness, compliance, and availability of Special Test Equipment (STE) and Government‑Furnished Equipment (GFE) across engineering and test programs. Key responsibilities include managing lab hardware assets, maintaining government property compliance, supporting hardware setup and calibration coordination, and assisting engineering teams with troubleshooting. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, hands-on professional who excels in dynamic environments and enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to enable successful test and integration activities. This is an onsite role in Plano, Texas.
What You Will Do:
- Manage, organize, and maintain Special Test Equipment (STE) and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) in accordance with program and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with government property management standards, including proper documentation, handling, and audits
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking systems, including asset status, location, and calibration records
- Coordinate hardware setup and configuration to support lab integration, test, and engineering activities
- Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware issues and ensure equipment readiness
- Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for lab equipment
Support lab operations by preparing equipment for test events and ensuring proper teardown and storage - Assist in improving lab processes, organization, and efficiency of hardware utilization
- Collaborate across teams to ensure timely availability of equipment to meet program schedules
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior experience supporting hardware setup, integration, and tests in an engineering lab
- Experience with hardware inventory management and documentation
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
- Experience supporting RF, radar, electronic warfare, or avionics hardware
- Ability to operate lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators
- Calibration processes and standards
- Inventory management systems or asset tracking tools
- Background in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
- Ability to follow lab safety protocols (ESD, grounding, hardware handling)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
