Full Job Description
As a Senior Key Account Manager you will manage an assigned an account, located in Owensboro, KY, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Senior Key Account Manager's focus is to maintain revenue, price capture, improve gross profit and achieve business plan. Additionally, a Senior Key Account Manager may be required to coach indirect reports to manage business, customer relationships and business objectives. You will also: • Maintain and build assigned business relationships • Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention. • Coaching and mentoring of indirect reports as needed • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites • Sell new business and new applications in your territory - develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities. • Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable) • Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements. Experience: • Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree • 5+ years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred) • Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems • Project management of complex projects • Strong relationship management skills/ • Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them • Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports • Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results • Prior experience that required excellent communication skills • Documented results using a consultive sales process Skills: Behavioral & Technical • Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly • Customer focused • Leadership ability • Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues • Strong Problem solving and Communication skills • Ability to establish relationships at all levels of management • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) General Work Environment: Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee could be faced with working in temperature extremes. Employee might be required to lift and carry 50 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,850.00 and $130,317.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
