Full Job Description
The Senior Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing strategic customer relationships within the supply chain logistics and automation sector. As the primary commercial lead for assigned global and regional key accounts, this role drives revenue growth through long-term partnerships, consultative selling, and a deep understanding of customers' operational and automation objectives. Working closely with engineering teams and executive leadership, the Senior Key Account Manager develops and executes multi-year account strategies, positions Körber as a trusted advisor, and leads the pursuit of complex automation, systems integration, and lifecycle service opportunities across warehouse, parcel, and manufacturing environments. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, technical credibility, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups within customer organizations.

Your Role in Our Team

  • Own full P&L performance for assigned key accounts, including revenue growth, profitability, risk management, and long-term value creation.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies encompassing growth objectives, stakeholder engagement plans, solution roadmaps, and competitive positioning.
  • Serve as the primary commercial lead and trusted advisor for strategic accounts, fostering relationships with executive, operational, engineering, and procurement stakeholders, including VP and C-suite leaders.
  • Drive account growth through renewals, expansions, upselling, and cross-selling while identifying new opportunities aligned with customers' operational and automation objectives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements in partnership with legal, finance, and executive leadership teams.
  • Partner with Engineering, Project Delivery, Software, Service, Product Management, and Operations teams to develop customer-focused solutions and ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, proactively manage commercial and delivery risks, resolve escalations, and maintain long-term customer confidence and retention.
  • Provide market and customer insights to support product strategy, roadmap planning, process improvements, go-to-market initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities within the supply chain and automation industry.


Your Profile
  • Proven experience selling capital-intensive automation, material handling, software, or systems integration solutions to enterprise-level customers.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain, parcel logistics, warehouse automation, and related technologies, including AS/RS, robotics, conveyors, AMRs, and enterprise software platforms.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, profitability, and risk.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans that drive long-term customer growth and retention.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and confidently engage, influence, and negotiate with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Consultative, solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and priorities.
  • Self-driven and resilient professional who thrives in fast-paced, matrixed organizations and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability.


Education and Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced business/technical degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, key account management, or strategic customer development within automation, intralogistics, material handling, parcel, or industrial technology environments.
  • Professional fluency in French and English (written and verbal), with the ability to conduct business communications, presentations, and customer interactions in both languages.
  • Proven success managing complex customer relationships, leading multi-site or global accounts, and closing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, warehouse automation, material handling systems, digital supply chain solutions, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels, including senior executives
