Job DescriptionOverviewWe are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic, highly motivated individual to lead ITS PS&E projects for our Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority client and the
ITS and Traffic Engineering team in the Austin area.
The position is hybrid and based out of the CTRMA office. Your role - Lead and manage ITS and Traffic Engineering design tasks or projects for CTRMA.
- Independently develops and manages project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Takes corrective actions as necessary.
- Actively manages project budgets and profitability.
- Analyzes financial reports and ensures timely billing and collections.
- Serves as the primary point of contact on assigned projects.
- Drafts routine contract addenda and change orders for review by senior management.
- Directs and coordinates the work of the project team.
- Provides informal guidance to Associate PMs and technical staff.
- Serve as technical lead on a range of ITS and Traffic Engineering assignments, including:
- ITS and connected vehicle system design.
- Dynamic Message Signs
- CCTV cameras
- Preparation and technical oversight of plans, specifications, and cost estimate (PS&E) packages.
About you - B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience since B.S. (or 9+ since M.S.)
- P.E. license is required.
- Strong Technical writing, computer and communications skills.
- Experience in use of traffic engineering software such as HCS, Synchro / Sim-Traffic, Vissim preferred.
- OpenRoads experience required; AutoCAD experience preferred.

Additional information Expected compensation range is between $145,000-215,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
