The opportunityWe currently have an opportunity for a Senior IT Manager to join our Corporate IT team based in our Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT; Raleigh, NC offices on a hybrid schedule. The Senior IT manager oversees and manages all corporate information systems activities, including systems analysis, programming, computer, and auxiliary operations, in an IT functional group. Directs and/or coordinates the tactical and operational IT provisioning infrastructure to support the enterprise's business goals. Aligns and calibrates the organization's technology deployment strategy with its business strategy. Directs the development and implementation of technologies to support business objectives. Some of the Senior IT Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the management, development, implementation and support of company systems. Monitors infrastructure performance and recommends areas for improvement. Identifies areas for process improvement opportunities across the organization.
- Responsible for highly complex projects to include building forecasts and developing technical plans. Assesses hardware and software products and vendors for their ability to solve organizational problems. Recommends and/or implements solutions.
- Oversees technology purchases and services provided to multiple internal customers.
- Makes recommendations concerning the development of software solutions and manages the customization/development efforts. Selects and deploys IT infrastructure and maintains appropriate availability of systems
- Keeps abreast of new developments in technology. Understands and maintains technology standards and guidelines.
- Manages and leads special projects, as required. Maintains a high standard of services to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction.
- Oversees and directs staff. Provides guidance and training. Encourages continuing education. Creates an environment of learning, teamwork, innovation and creativity.
- Accountable for budget results and outcome, along with forecasting expenses and developing operating budget. Ensures that results are monitored against the plan and in-line with budget.
- Interacts and builds relationships with senior management, business partners and customers.
The expertise you bring- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Post Graduate may be required
- 10 to 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience is managing large teams of people, allocating resources and developing staff.
Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $167,000 - $209,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $182,000 - $213,000.
