Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Relevant accounting or auditing certification (CPA, CISA, CIA) preferred
• Experience in internal auditing, COSO, and internal controls
• Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced Excel and Access
• Familiarity with audit management software (e.g., TeamMate, ACL, SAS)
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial services or public accounting

Responsibilities

• Identify key risk areas and propose controls to mitigate them
• Conduct walkthroughs and audit testing of various processes
• Craft internal audit procedures based on data analytics and risk assessments
• Evaluate internal controls and procedures for effectiveness
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
• Prepare audit reports in alignment with the departmental methodology
• Ensure timely implementation of management actions from audit reports
• Develop ongoing auditing techniques and process improvements
• Stay informed on trends in internal auditing
• Assist with special investigations as requested by senior management
• Mentor and guide junior audit staff
