Full Job Description
In the role of Senior IT Asset Analyst - ITFM you will:
• Evaluate and optimize operational and financial processes to improve cost efficiency, transparency, and alignment with FinOps best practice
• Partner with technology, finance, and business stakeholders to manage budgets, monitor spend, and drive accountability across cost center
• Analyze cost and usage data across cloud and technology environments to identify optimization opportunities, reduce waste, and improve overall resource efficiency
• Implement and support showback/chargeback models to increase visibility and ownership of technology spend
• Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives (e.g., rightsizing, license optimization, decommissioning unused resources) to drive measurable financial impact
• Establish and enforce financial governance and cost management best practices to support audit readiness and operational consistency
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment between financial objectives and technology delivery, maintaining strong attention to timelines and deliverable
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on FinOps principles, fostering a culture of cost awareness and continuous improvement
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT Asset Management best practices and procedure

• Experience partnering with technology, finance, and business stakeholders to manage budgets, monitor spend, and drive accountability across cost centers.
• Experience analyzing cost and usage data across cloud and technology environments to identify optimization opportunities and improve resource efficiency.
• Experience implementing and supporting showback and chargeback models.
• Demonstrated success identifying and executing technology cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, license optimization, and resource decommissioning.
• Knowledge of financial governance, cost management practices, and audit readiness requirements.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives that align technology delivery with financial objectives.
• Ability to provide guidance and mentorship on FinOps principles and cost optimization best practices.
• Experience contributing to the development and enforcement of IT Asset Management best practices and procedures.
• Background in FinOps, including Azure and Google Cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of P&L impact, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
• Experience in business analytics and/or financial analysis.
• Schedule & Presence: This on-site role supports 24/7 operations through real-time collaboration. Standard shifts occur within a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday. Additionally, this position requires scheduled on-call flexibility and the ability to remain reasonably reachable during off-hours for critical business continuity.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field, or combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years IT asset management experience, including management of multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in working with business users to establish priorities and manage expectations
• Self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of performing tasks in a dynamic environment many times working under tight delivery schedules Engineering and/or Construction background a plus
