Job DescriptionJovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Senior ISSO for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Enhancingthe system security posture by supporting the program, organization,system, or enclave's information assurance initiatives and enforcingsecurity policies, standards, and methodologies.
- Overseeingsecurity operations for information systems, managing daily securityaspects, evaluating security solutions for classified processing, andconducting vulnerability and risk analysis/assessments for systemauthorization.
- Managingconfiguration and system integrity by administering configurationmanagement for security software, hardware, and firmware, ensuringcompliance with security controls, and assessing the impact of systemchanges.
- Developingand maintaining security documentation and System Security Plans lifecyclemanagement activities to ensure compliance with system securityrequirements.
- Providingtechnical expertise in security policies and operations, supportingthe implementation and maintenance of security measures andcountermeasures, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintaincompliance and strengthen the system security posture.
- Drivingcontinuous improvement by assessing existing security processes,identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing proactive solutions toenhance system resilience.
RequirementsA current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
- Bachelorof Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, InformationSecurity, or a related discipline, plus 12+ years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years ofexperience may be considered on a case by case basis.
- DirectExperience: 10+ years of in-depth experience as ISSO or combinationof ISSO and other security related role supporting IC or DoD programs andcontracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Proficientwith customer security tools, corporate repositories, playbooks andguidelines
- Knowledgeablewith applicable frameworks, regulations, standards, policies andprocedures
- Operationalunderstanding of server and IA technologies, internet working protocols andservices
- Certifications& Compliance with DoD 8140.03 with IAM Level II or higher (CASP+,CISSP or higher)
