Job Summary

This role is responsible for defining, maintaining, and supporting enterprise infrastructure operational policies, standards, best practices, procedures, tools, and projects to ensure efficient, resilient, and secure operations across critical systems and facilities.

The position works closely with internal technical teams and external partners to deliver operational support across diverse enterprise services, continuously monitoring performance and identifying improvement opportunities. Responsibilities include aligning operational requirements with security frameworks and regulatory compliance while maintaining high service availability. The role requires a self-motivated professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and operational tasks in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to design and support technical solutions.
  • Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes to support enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Maintain infrastructure technologies through formal change management processes.
  • Lead technical implementation plans for infrastructure technologies.
  • Evaluate, test, and select hardware and software solutions.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to cybersecurity standards.
  • Maintain strong security controls across critical operational systems.
  • Support special infrastructure initiatives as assigned.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations.
  • Provide technical mentoring and professional development for team members.

Key Technical Skills
  • Advanced expertise in network infrastructure, operations, and security.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and emerging technology trends.
  • Proficiency in network security technologies including NAC, micro-segmentation, and security architecture.
  • Experience deploying network access control solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with authentication systems such as RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, and SSO.
  • Ability to design and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, encrypted transport technologies, and tunneling solutions.
  • Experience with network automation and DevOps methodologies preferred.
  • Strong routing and switching background including BGP, OSPF, traffic engineering, multicast, and virtualized networking.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience and certifications.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Hands-on experience with dynamic routing protocols, firewall technologies, network security tools, scripting, and SDN solutions.
  • Experience with data center networking technologies including virtual switching platforms.

Additional Experience (Preferred)
  • Data center operations and infrastructure management
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Security and compliance management
  • Working knowledge of Linux, UNIX, Windows environments
  • Virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix
