Who we are looking forThe role of Senior Industrial Designer at Tekna is to provide solutions that address identified user needs, while helping our clients meet their business objectives. Solutions will be developed using a combination of the following tools: market, ergonomic and user scenario research, sketching, rendering, study models, computer models, and final production quality prototypes.
What you'll get to do- Work closely with Design and Engineering Leads to scope projects to gain an understanding for clients' business objectives.
- Assist in the development of the work approach and strategy.
- Participate in and lead a variety of research activities.
- Possess and demonstrate a high skill level in fundamental design tools and practices.
- Maintain our customer's corporate look and feel based on material selection, color palette, specific design elements or form vocabulary.
What you bring to the team- Bachelors Fine Arts (BFA) or Bachelors Science in Industrial Design (BSID)
- 3-5 years in corporate or consulting environments.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
