$3,000 sign-on bonus!What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)As a
Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing
expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Leading service calls and responding to emergency maintenance requests, including on-call rotations and overtime work as needed.
- Conducting preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing to optimize efficiency.
- Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure correct installation and repairs.
- Ensuring compliance with MCI's high standards for quality and safety, following industry best practices and regulatory codes.
- Acting as a trusted advisor for customers, providing expert recommendations and building long-term relationships.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, sales, and project management) to identify solutions and support business development.
- Completing all required documentation, including work orders, warranty claims, and service reports, with accuracy and attention to detail.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications & Skills):- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documents.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills - the ability to identify and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug & background check.Safety-first mindset - understanding and following all industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and internal teams.
