Senior HVAC Service Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC
Experience: Senior Level (5+ Years); Commercial Equipment
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Non-exempt; Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience. This position qualifies for a $3,000 sign-on bonus!

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • Leading service calls and responding to emergency maintenance requests, including on-call rotations and overtime work as needed.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing to optimize efficiency.
  • Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure correct installation and repairs.
  • Ensuring compliance with MCI's high standards for quality and safety, following industry best practices and regulatory codes.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for customers, providing expert recommendations and building long-term relationships.
  • Training and mentoring junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, sales, and project management) to identify solutions and support business development.
  • Completing all required documentation, including work orders, warranty claims, and service reports, with accuracy and attention to detail.
