Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design electronic product architecture for complex systems
  • Create schematics for high-speed circuits including FPGAs, ultra-low jitter clocks, and multi-gigabit links
  • Prototype and test new electronic designs in the laboratory setting
  • Collaborate within a team to develop Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions for end-users
  • Document designs to assist the software team in hardware functionality testing

Full Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Electronic Product Architecture
  • Schematic Design of complex circuits including:
    • FPGAs, PLDs, and PPCs
    • Ultra-low jitter and phase noise clocks
    • Multi-Gigabit High-Speed Serial links
    • High-Speed ADCs and DACs (100MHz - 5GHz and beyond)
    • Switching and Linear Power Supplies
    • High-Speed Memory interfaces including DRAM and SRAM
    • RF
    • Form factors including PCIe, VME, VXS, Blade, Open VPX, XMC and PMC
  • Prototype and test new designs in the laboratory
  • Operate in a team environment to develop COTS solutions designed with the end-user in mind
  • Generate documentation to enable our Software Team to produce software to enable and test your design's hardware functionality


Requirements

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $100,000/yr to $230,000/yr; however, Annapolis Micro Systems considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
