Job Duties and Responsibilities

As the Senior Governance Operations Analyst, you serve as the process backbone of our AI Governance program, focusing on data-driven design and performance tracking. Your primary challenge is to eliminate manual data collection by automating the Governance Engine, providing real-time visibility into the health of our AI initiatives for executive stakeholders. By translating complex metrics into high-fidelity narratives, you ensure that leadership is equipped with the quantified evidence needed to steer EchoStar's AI strategy.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Design and maintain self-service dashboards that visualize the velocity and volume of the Governance Engine, ensuring stakeholders have instant access to program status
  • Monitor critical program metrics, such as Time-to-Approval and Throughput Velocity, to identify process bottlenecks and prioritize interventions for the Senior Manager
  • Analyze trends to shift the Governance program from reactive monitoring to proactive optimization, driving business units toward higher governance maturity levels
  • Produce high-quality, data-driven presentation materials for the Data Governance Committee and Executive Council that clearly highlight adoption rates and operational health
  • Recommend continuous improvements to the intake and review workflows based on empirical evidence, ensuring the governance framework evolves alongside our technology
  • Collaborate with Governance Delivery Analysts to refine processes, reducing administrative burden while improving the overall throughput of the delivery pipeline

Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Critical experience managing project pipelines where throughput, velocity, and data integrity are the primary success metrics
  • Proven ability to design and analyze complex processes to pinpoint specific stages where the framework requires adjustment or streamlining
  • Expert skill in translating raw metrics into strategic stories that demonstrate progress and absorption of the AI governance pipeline to C-suite leadership
  • AI Literacy with the ability to leverage AI-driven visualization tools and automated reporting frameworks to enhance operational oversight
  • Strong capacity to create consistent narratives and high-fidelity Evidence Packs that communicate project status without error to executive committees
  • Excellence in documentation and communication, ensuring that technical findings are accessible and actionable for non-technical business leaders

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience preparing data for C-suite or Board-level committees with a focus on error-free reporting
  • Proven experience in creating data-rich narratives regarding how governance is absorbed across a technical enterprise
  • Familiarity with Evidence Packs and high-fidelity operational reviews for executive leadership

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Operations Management within a technical enterprise
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience with:
    • Designing and maintaining automated dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or similar)
    • Managing Stage-Gate or project pipeline metrics
    • Data-driven storytelling and C-suite level reporting

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year
