Senior Global Security Analyst

Location: Richmond. VA (hybrid- in office 2-3 times/week or on-site full time)

Position Overview:

The Senior Global Security Analyst will play a critical role in protecting Wellverse Medical-Surgical Inc.'s global assets, information, and employees from evolving security threats. This position involves proactive threat intelligence, incident response, and the development and implementation of robust security strategies across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze Electronic Security Systems project-related data from a variety of sources, preparing reports and dashboard visualizations detailing program performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement and manage a service model for Electronic Security System (ESS) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) technology infrastructure, to include but not limited to the following service areas:
    • Version and Patch Management
    • Asset Management
    • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Remote Vendor Access Management
    • Configuration Management
    • Service Ticket Management
  • Develop and manage workflows to standardize business processes required for the programming, commissioning, and continuity of GSOC technology infrastructure within a secure network architecture.
  • Advocate a culture of continuous improvement across internal and external business relationships, while establishing strategic relationships complimentary to evolving organizational priorities.
  • Develop and execute intra and cross-functional project plans, identifying project risks and priorities, while managing multiple technical projects on-time and within budget.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and projects to successful completion.
  • Experience in project management, organizational change, and/or process improvement.
  • Strong facilitation and oral/written communication skills across all levels of the business. Confident presenter and public speaker.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to aggregate, organize, and prepare complex data sets for use in business analysis.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, industrial control systems and other operational technologies.
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office solutions (Word, PowerPoint and Visio).
  • Adept at working through ambiguity, putting structure around problems and tasks with limited guidance.
  • Effective at establishing collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective at applying strategic and analytical thinking to deliver business insights.


Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
  • CPP, PSP, or other relevant professional designations preferred.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies preferred.


Working Conditions:

  • Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.). Preferred to be in Richmond, VA
  • Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.)
  • May require up to 25% travel, based on business and operational needs.

Position Level - P4

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
