Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience in Colorado
• Proficient in soil mechanics
• In-depth knowledge of geotechnical and material testing/special inspection services
• Existing client/revenue base in relevant services
• Strong problem-solving skills applying engineering principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented approach
• Valid Colorado Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and establish cost and schedule for geotechnical investigations
• Lead technical team in field inspection activities and engage customers to ensure timely project completion
• Assess team performance and identify training needs to achieve performance goals
• Maintain and build client relationships by developing effective marketing strategies
• Plan and manage geotechnical exploration programs efficiently
• Conduct environmental investigations related to construction projects
• Analyze findings, perform calculations, and prepare detailed technical reports for peer review
• Handle basic office administrative tasks when necessary
