- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot spatial data workflows using FME to transform, validate, automate, and integrate geospatial information from multiple sources.
- Use QGIS to perform spatial analysis, create maps, manage geospatial layers, and develop visually effective cartographic products for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply cartographic symbolization and portrayal rules to represent geographic features based on feature type, attribution, scale, and intended product use.
- Perform cartographic generalization, feature displacement, and conflict resolution to maintain geographic relationships while improving map clarity and readability at the intended production scale.
- Create, edit, and position geographic names, labels, annotation, symbols, and other map elements using established placement techniques to minimize conflicts and ensure legibility.
- Develop and maintain map layouts and required product elements, including grids, legends, scale information, marginalia, titles, notes, and other components necessary for final product presentation.
