Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Audubon is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated FP&A Senior Analyst to lead our financial planning and analysis function reporting into the CFO. The FP&A Senior Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability. Additionally, this role will be responsible for understanding where our various assets are located to accurately report them for property tax purposes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting;
  • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning processes;
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organization;
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for growth;
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
  • Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives;
  • Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop a process and system to accurately track our assets to properly report for our property tax renditions;
  • Works on other matters as required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred;
  • 5 - 10 years' experience in an accounting group with 1 - 3 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking or a similar role;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Proficiency in Power BI;
  • Proficiency in Velixo;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis and management reporting;
  • Self-starter, proactive and focused on adding value to the organization and the multiple stakeholders;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
