What you'll work on here- Serving as the dedicated technical owner for one or more of our largest enterprise customers after the contract has been signed
- Shipping code, reliable software, and systems that carry production traffic from day one
- Pioneering the patterns for deploying Mintlify inside organizations with 100,000+ employees
- Scoping ambiguous customer asks into shippable plans, and saying no when the ask would fork the product
- Designing and deliver self-hosted and VPC deployments, SSO (SAML/OIDC), and least-privilege access architectures
- Building enterprise-specific integrations with customer systems as they exist today, finding the least invasive path rather than demanding a rebuild
- Debugging production issues across the full stack and own them to resolution
- Productizing the patterns you see across deployments: self-hosting packages, runbooks, integration templates
- Feeding field knowledge back into the core product so we never solve the same problem twice
What you bring to the table- 5+ years of software engineering experience with real production ownership (you've been paged, you've done the postmortem), focused on backend work
- Direct customer-facing experience: you've sat across from a customer, explained a technical limitation, and kept their trust
- Comfort with enterprise deployment realities: cloud infrastructure, networking, SSO, compliance-conscious environments
- Strong written and verbal communication: you can brief an executive and pair with their platform team in the same afternoon
- Bonus points: Previous founding experience. Experience in an FDE, solutions architecture, or professional services motion.
