Full Job Description
We are seeking a client-focused Senior Financial Planner to join our team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial planning services. In this role, you will work closely with other advisors and partners to help clients navigate complex financial decisions, while developing the technical, analytical, and relationship management skills required for long-term success in advisory.

As part of a collaborative professional services environment, you will contribute to the preparation and execution of personalized financial plans designed to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to actively participate in both financial planning execution and client relationship development. You will take ownership of key components of the planning process-preparing analyses, supporting client meeting deliverables, and contributing to recommendations-while also building direct client relationships.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Someone who is comfortable working with data, enjoys translating complex financial concepts into clear insights, and is motivated to develop into a trusted advisor who delivers thoughtful, client-centric solutions.

Financial Planning:
  • Prepare client financial plans and presentations for review by Advisors & Partners
  • Initiates and drives the financial planning process for client assignments
  • Gather, organize, and synthesize client data within a financial planning context
  • Identify tax planning strategies through creating tax projections for clients
  • Prepare financial scenarios
  • Assist in researching technical issues and client questions
  • Client Service & Relationship Management:
  • Play an integral role in client relationships while supporting advisors
  • Begin to lead select client relationships including, regular client contact, communications, and meetings
  • Provide planning recommendations and communicate them effectively with the advisor and/or client
  • Prepare for client meetings
  • Attend and participate in client meetings by taking notes, running technology, presenting financial planning software,
  • selecting financial planning recommendations, and developing rapport with the clients
  • Begin to lead the development and initiation of client communications
  • Communicate with advisors or clients when necessary to initiate or follow up on planning engagements
  • Begin to lead the client account administration function
  • Assist with client development and ongoing relationship management
  • Assist and facilitate the set-up and transfer of funds for new investment accounts

Requirements
  • College Degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Series 65
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and analyze client data

The annual salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $110,000. This salary range reflects the anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending upon an individual's experience, knowledge, and skills. Individuals may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of incentives, commissions, profit sharing, and more, depending on the role.
