Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue Management

Department: Finance
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid, 3x/wk onsite in Seaport office required)
Position Summary

We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue Management to serve as a key financial partner to our Revenue Management and Brand teams, bringing strong FP&A skills paired with the ability to influence and drive action in real time. Unlike a general SFA role focused primarily on reporting and long-range planning, this position is highly operational and immediate-term, requiring someone who can engage in live discussions with leadership around pricing, offers, and discounting strategies that directly impact passenger bookings. Success in this role means balancing financial discipline with marketing creativity, using data to shape promotions, and making 80/20 decisions quickly - "done is better than perfect" is often the reality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with Revenue Management and Brand teams to evaluate discounts, offers, and passenger volume strategies in relation to real-time booking trends.
  • Deliver financial analysis that drives immediate action, including close-in pricing and promotion adjustments.
  • Serve as a thought partner in live discussions with senior leaders, presenting data-backed recommendations with confidence and resilience.
  • Translate financial insights into marketing strategies, ensuring offers are compelling and visible to customers through the right channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Finance, Marketing, and Operations to align revenue strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Support ongoing financial planning, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis, with an emphasis on revenue optimization.
  • Balance short-term revenue opportunities with broader financial objectives and business priorities.
  • Bring an 80/20 mindset to decision-making, knowing when speed and action are more valuable than perfect analysis.
Qualifications
  • 3-8 years of finance experience, ideally with exposure to revenue management, FP&A, or highly operational finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to drive action, not just reporting.
  • Advanced Excel required; Tableau a plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, immediate timelines with shifting priorities.
  • Resilient, confident communicator able to debate recommendations with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Total Rewards

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 annually (with potential flex based on experience) for employees based in Boston, MA. Final compensation may vary and will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus and first-class benefits, which include:
  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive and heavily subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans, plus on-site gym access, holistic wellness sessions, and group fitness classes
  • Time for you: Substantial Paid Time Off (PTO), and 11 paid holidays- including Juneteenth, Memorial Day, and Labor Day - and Summer Fridays. Plus- extensive parental leave, with up to 12-16 weeks paid leave at 100% base salary.
  • Travel more, spend less: 50% off our trips for you and a companion, 25% for additional immediate family members, and exclusive quarterly associate travel deals
  • Your future, secured: 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and disability coverage
  • Continuous growth: Tuition assistance for both professional and personal development, opportunities for professional development through oversees travel, and direct access to Pinnacle Leadership & Team Development.
  • Extra perks: Commuter benefits, FSA options, pet insurance, home & auto discounts, and paid volunteer time off to give back to the community
