Core Project Management is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance within an industrial environment.
🏭 CHEMICAL PLANT EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED!
We are looking for a results-driven financial professional with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and hands-on SAP experience.
💼 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Lead product inventories in compliance with SOX/Internal Controls
• Develop financial models for capital investments and strategic initiatives
• Analyze profitability, operational costs, and financial performance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations
• Support month-end/year-end closing processes and audits
• Monitor KPIs and provide strategic financial recommendations
🎯 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - REQUIRED
• SAP/ERP experience - REQUIRED
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in an industrial/chemical plant environment
• MUST BE LOCAL TO ORANGE, TX OR SURROUNDING AREAS
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Chemical plant or manufacturing finance experience
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or FP&A software
• Strong understanding of financial controls and operational accounting
📅 SCHEDULE: Primarily Monday-Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed.
💰 COMPENSATION: Pay will be discussed ONLY AFTER candidates have been reviewed and deemed qualified for the position.
