Position OverviewNexCore Group is searching for a candidate to fill the position of Senior Financial Analyst within our Corporate Finance team. The role will support the Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance that is responsible for monitoring and forming NexCore's corporate strategy. The Senior Analyst serves a key role in modeling corporate performance. The position will focus on cash flow analysis, corporate earnings forecasting, workforce planning, monitoring current and future debt compliance covenants, budgeting, and working with the divisional team leaders to ensure any significant financial opportunities or challenges are clearly articulated to the NexCore senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and present robust Excel models that clearly communicate operating and cash flow results, budget variance analysis, operating forecasts, and debt compliance
- Actively review KPIs, monitoring forward risk and recommending strategies to optimize asset and portfolio performance
- Calculate IRR, NPV and equity multiples
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and pro forma analysis
- Leverage newly implemented Yardi ERP to improve and automate NexCore's reporting tools and workflows
- Prepare investor quality presentations and operating reports that clearly articulate operating results
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments to ensure the achievement of key objectives (i.e. accounting, operations, legal, and finance)
- Work on ad hoc projects and requests as needed
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance required, advanced degree preferred
- CPA / CFA preferred
- Must have 3-5 years' experience of FP&A experience in real estate or private equity
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills, experience with three-statement models and leveraging an ERP to create precise financial models
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting and working with CEO, CFO and other members of management
- Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment
- Adaptability - Maintain effectiveness in varying environments, tasks and responsibilities, or with various types of people
- Dealing with Ambiguity - can effectively cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having the total picture, can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, experience with enterprise performance management tools is a plus
Benefits- Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 / year
