The Senior Field Service Technician will provide technical and logistical support for Komline-Sanderson customers and their supplied systems and equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities - Perform start up tasks such as mechanical and electrical checks, equipment verification, and proper installation ready for operation
- Record appropriate initial operations data while performing equipment optimization and tests
- Provide field drawing mark-ups to Designers for "as built" drawing revisions
- Lead and coordinate start-up efforts from product lines and outside vendors to ensure system compliance within the scope of the customer's performance criteria
- Lead contractors and other onsite personnel to coordinate activities and inspect work-in-progress
- Implement operational requirements to ensure success during equipment trials and review specifications with the customer to ensure equipment compliance
- Implement job specific preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Produce accurate progress reports and site reviews for the Project Manager and Customer Representative, developing and maintaining punch lists to track outstanding items and deficiencies for project completion
- Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians
- Provide continuous improvement feedback to engineering department
Qualifications- 10+ years of previous field service experience
- Knowledge of process equipment control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
- 7+ years' experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
- 7+ years' experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite
- Collaborate with others and working in a team environment
- Travel up to 70% to customer sites
- Available for 3-6 months of training at our facility in Peapack, New Jersey
