Job Description:

The Senior Facilities Process Engineer independently supports the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of company facilities through moderately complex projects and assignments. This role coordinates with internal partners, architects, contractors, and subject matter experts to deliver assigned work within established scope, schedule, budget, safety, and sustainability requirements. The position applies established engineering standards, evaluates difficult and mildly complex facility issues, and recommends practical improvements to facility performance and building-envelope maintenance.

This position is onsite in Green Bay, WI.

Relocating candidates (50+ miles) are eligible for $10,000 relocation bonus PLUS a generous relocation package

What you'll do:
  • Coordinate assigned design and construction activities for moderately complex facility projects and expansions. Work with architects, contractors, and internal teams to monitor scope, schedule, budget, safety, and sustainability requirements. Apply established facility design standards and maintain project, title, and property records.
  • Analyze energy use and facility lifecycle costs, identify improvement opportunities, and work with peers to implement practical design or maintenance changes that support established performance targets.
  • Execute established inspection and preventive maintenance programs for building-envelope systems, including roofing, walls, windows, sewers, floors, and insulation. Assess conditions, resolve difficult and mildly complex issues, document risks, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Apply established engineering standards and applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and safety requirements to assigned work. Document compliance, identify gaps, and recommend moderate improvements to procedures or systems.
  • Coordinate assigned utility-system deliverables with internal and external subject matter experts, including refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC, natural gas, electrical services, water, steam, and wastewater treatment. Analyze technical issues and support implementation of reliable, efficient, and compliant solutions.
  • Track capital and operating budgets for assigned facility projects and maintenance activities. Support continuous-improvement efforts, coordinate vendor work, and review performance against established scope, quality, delivery, and contract requirements.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards, communicate quality or delivery concerns, and work with partners to recommend and follow up on corrective actions.
  • May be required to perform other job-related tasks.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in facilities engineering, construction management or related roles; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Project planning and execution for moderately complex assignments, with advanced communication and operational stakeholder coordination skills. Ability to manage assigned scope, schedule, and budget
  • Advanced knowledge of building-envelope systems, facility design, construction practices, and materials.
  • Advanced skills in preventive maintenance planning, application of engineering standards, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
  • Working knowledge of energy-efficiency principles and CAD/BIM tools, with familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and sustainability principles.
