Full Job Description
About This Role

You will be the technical owner of the Netsuite ecosystem at Parachute Home. Reporting into our Senior Director of E-commerce and in partnership with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for assessing, redesigning what needs redesigning, and building governance around NetSuite that will establish future success of our ERP infrastructure. This is a system architecture and ownership role: you'll evaluate what we have, define what we need, and build toward it. You will still help manage day-to-day issues, support end users, and be the internal expert that our teams rely on.

Location: Culver City - in office M-TH
What You'll Do
  • Develop a roadmap for optimization and redesign by conducting a thorough assessment of the current NetSuite environment through customizations, integrations, and technical debt
  • Design, build, and maintain SuiteScript solutions (Map/Reduce, Scheduled, User Event, RESTlets), workflows, saved searches, and SuiteQL-driven automation
  • Consult with business stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, and Wholesale to translate business needs into scalable ERP solutions
  • Own end to end system integrations (Shopify, Celigo, WMS, EDI, and others) through monitoring, error handling, and recovery
  • Build durable practices by establishing and enforcing ERP systems governance: script deployment standards, sandbox and release management, API concurrency management, change control, and documentation
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting on close automation, revenue data integrity, and audit-readiness of system controls
  • Design user-friendly interfaces and functionality through custom forms, roles, dashboards, and saved searches so that non-technical teams can self-serve with confidence
  • Manage external implementation partners and consultants effectively: scope their work clearly, hold them accountable, and progressively reduce our dependency on them
  • Provide training, support, and documentation that makes ERP systems knowledge durable rather than tribal
  • Serve as the escalation point for ERP systems incidents by diagnosing root causes and building fixes that hold, not patches that buy time
  • Own budgeting and forecasting for the ERP stack, evaluating new tools as our needs evolve
Who You Are
  • 7+ years in ERP/business systems roles, including 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration and development in a multi-entity or multi-channel environment
  • Expert in SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteQL, NetSuite REST/SuiteTalk APIs, and Token-Based Authentication; you've built and debugged production Map/Reduce scripts and RESTlets, not just configured workflows
  • Experienced with iPaaS platforms (Celigo strongly preferred) and high-volume integration patterns, including concurrency management and error recovery
  • Background in DTC or omnichannel consumer businesses - you understand the operational complexity of managing inventory, fulfillment, and finance across multiple sales channels
  • Comfortable with EDI integrations and experienced working with 3PL and retail partners
  • Fluent in ERP fundamentals such as; order-to-cash, revenue recognition, month-end close, procure-to-pay
  • A skilled project manager who can scope and deliver cross-functional implementations, manage external partners, and own a systems roadmap
  • Able to translate complex technical information into clear, digestible insights that inform business decisions and action
  • Highly organized and rigorous about governance and documentation - you know that at scale, undisciplined systems fail loudly and expensively
  • Equally comfortable in code, in an architecture diagram, and in a cross-functional room
  • NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or SuiteCloud Developer certification a plus
  • Experience with SQL and data warehouse tooling (Snowflake or similar) a plus

Perks & Benefits
  • Hybrid schedule with Fridays work-from-home
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and disability coverage
  • One Medical (full health), Kindbody (fertility health), and Talkspace (mental health) memberships
  • Open & flexible PTO
  • 401(k) plan through Empower
  • Employee stock options & annual bonus plans
  • Up to 10 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Weekly catered lunch & free snacks
  • Monthly work-from-home stipend
  • Monthly cell phone reimbursement
  • $300 annual free bedding, plus an employee discount and $250 new hire gift card
  • Beautiful HQ in Culver City, steps from the light rail
  • Dog friendly office

Compensation

The base salary range for this position will be $155,000-$175,000. Compensation may vary based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible for additional compensation through bonus or stock options.
