Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $86,000.00 - $131,375.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of the Center for Biostatistics to evaluate, expand and monitor current clinical research programs within the orthopedics research program.
• Assist in developing partnerships between clinicians, surgeons and basic/translational investigators at HSS and other institutions nationally and internationally.
• Collaborate with clinical investigators across all service lines to design, execute, and analyze research studies
• Help to develop and support the establishment of new programmatic research themes.
• Work to build comprehensive strategic efforts to better support our research mission.
• Serve on or support the IRB and related review committees as determined by the Director of the HSS Center for Biostatistics.

Qualifications:
• Doctoral Degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, MD, DrPH) in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience working as a collaborative research scientist in an academic medical center or similar environment.
