My client an Environmental Consultant firm here in the west suburbs of Chicago is looking to hire a senior environmental scientist for the firm with a minimum of 4 years of experience for the company due to a company employee relocating. This role is one for a candidate that has experience in Environmental Site Assessments Phase II, soil characterization. You will be preparing and writing technical reports Phase II site investigation, UST/LUST, site remediation program. This opportunity has you doing construction oversite and preparing of field documents from notes, forms and photographs, figures and logs. Will be the one on the team with a technical understanding and ability to assess cleanup programs and leaking underground storage programs. Keeping your team members updated to communicate project status and schedule and make recommendations to your immediate superior and other senior consultants.

The company is looking for 4 to 8 years of on-the-job experience in an office and field. Your strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with AutoCAD and GIS programs will have you easily onboarding with the current systems being utilized. Certifications preferred OSHA 40 hour and Hazwoper along with medical approval by the company's appointed physician.
