Job Summary
Langan is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join its collaborative team in St Petersburg or Tampa, FL. This individual will serve a key function in site exploration activities, including soil borings and monitoring well installations; conducting field tests; collecting field data and samples; monitoring construction sites; and compiling data and preparing reports. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, solve problems and overcome challenges in restoring the environment and returning blighted properties to productive re-use while protecting and enhancing the environment. The position encourages learning, growth, creativity, flexibility, and collaboration in a team environment.
Perform field inspections and environmental investigations;
Perform air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties;
Field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors;
Assist with the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and plans; data management and evaluation; and environmental assessment and remediation; and
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; Master's degree preferred;
3+ years of work-related experience;
EIT Certification;
Working knowledge of computer software, AutoCAD design software, and GIS a plus;
