Senior Engineer - Wastewater Planning & Modeling

Location: Farmington Hills, Lansing, or Grand Rapids, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working with our Water/Wastewater Team, you will lead and support wastewater collection system planning, hydraulic modeling, flow monitoring, system capacity evaluations, and municipal infrastructure studies for communities and wastewater authorities throughout the region.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and lead sanitary sewer flow monitoring programs, data review, and analysis.
  • Develop, calibrate, and apply sanitary sewer and combined sewer hydraulic models.
  • Perform wastewater collection system capacity evaluations and wet weather analyses.
  • Prepare wastewater master plans, alternatives analyses, and technical memorandums.
  • Analyze SSES data and support solutions for SSO, CSO, and basement backup concerns.
  • Lead project management activities, client meetings, schedules, and budgets.
  • Support proposals, scope development, and business development efforts.


What We're Looking For
