Hardware Test Engineer

Department: New Product Engineering, Tools, and Testing

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Hardware Test Engineer to join our New Product Test Engineering, Tools, and Test team. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of our hardware products through the development and execution of robust testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware testing, compliance standards, and cross-functional collaboration.

What will you do?
  • Develop and document test procedures, analyze data, and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Develop test processes and standards for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to define test requirements and ensure testability of new designs.
  • Characterize the performance of hardware systems and components through structured testing and analysis.
  • Coordinate with external test labs and certification bodies for compliance testing (e.g., EMC, safety, environmental).
  • Interpret and apply relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, FCC, CE) to ensure product compliance.
  • Design and implement automated and manual test setups, including custom test fixtures and instrumentation.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
