Senior Engineer, Network Security- Remote
Location: Brentwood, TN | Remote
*Potential for up to 10% travel
Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer, Network Security!
Summary:
The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for interfacing directly with end-users and vendors to assess, recommend, design, and implement network security solutions, firewall rules, and policies. Manage Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet security devices. Conduct regular network reviews to identify opportunities to improve security posture. This role requires a strong networking, infrastructure, systems, and software background and will focus heavily on designing, deploying, managing, securing, and troubleshooting enterprise security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and self-motivator, flexible, and able to excel at multi-tasking and flourish in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Essential Functions:
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Certifications: PCNSE, or other intermediate to advanced level industry recognized certifications preferred.

Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or hospital environment.
Normal business hours are: 8 a.m. 6 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. However, schedules may vary by business necessity. Remote workers are expected to be available during normal business hours, unless otherwise approved by the department leader(s).
