We're looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other related field required.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure is required.
- 15+ years of experience leading projects from a technical perspective (water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance, including pump stations; wastewater treatment experience a plus)
- Strong technical background and experience in designing water/wastewater utility systems, pipelines, pump stations, storage.
- Proficient working experience with MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Civil 3D, REVIT, and hydraulic/stormwater/process modeling software.
- Proven experience in developing project plans, anticipating and addressing project issues, leading meetings with clients, and directing the completion of technical reports.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality reports and technical memoranda; preparation and sealing of design plans and specifications; strong attention to detail.
- Must be exceptional in written and oral communication, with the ability to lead, develop, and deliver highly persuasive presentations that build client confidence and result in securing favorable design contracts.

About the RoleOur Cincinnati office is seeking a Senior Engineer to work on projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment. Our team of project professionals will provide you with support and flexibility, allowing you to produce high-quality work while maintaining a work-life balance. As a
Senior Engineer, you will:
- Lead planning, design, and evaluation of wastewater and stormwater conveyance and utility projects, including relocations.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling for conveyance systems-stormwater, gravity flow, and pressure systems.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage project delivery from planning through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Support construction with field visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination.
- Maintain client relationships and communicate project goals to ensure expectations are met.
- Review engineering drawings, perform code research, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Serve in key roles such as Engineer-of-Record, Technical Advisor, or Quality Control Reviewer to ensure technical integrity, schedule adherence, and compliance with industry and client standards.
- Be recognized within the organization and industry as a credible leader with deep technical expertise and proven success delivering complex water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Mentor technical staff and engineers.
- Collaborate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to inform project execution and operational success.
