The Endpoint Consultant scopes, assesses, plans, designs, delivers, tests, and documents customer implementation projects while supporting and migrating workloads to enterprise cloud platforms. This role is an expert in Microsoft Endpoint management and security technologies, AVD, and similar solutions, using that expertise to inspire and guide customers, coworkers, and partners in meeting project requirements.
Technical Abilities- Demonstrates accountability for the successful technical delivery of customer projects
- Experience in endpoint migrations, to Entra or between tenants
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains:
- Microsoft Intune / Autopilot
- Windows Hello for Business
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / XDR
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- Entra ID, AD Domain Services or Entra ID Domain Services
- Azure Landing Zones / General Azure knowledge
- SCCM / Co-Management / OS imaging and deployments
- Security and Compliance related settings and features
Requirements- Leads technical delivery tasks by providing knowledge of involved technologies, risks, impacts and dependencies
- Capable of mapping technical requirements into actionable steps to deploy and deliver technical solutions
- Designs,configures,and documents all aspects of technology area
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Skills Required- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, in-person)
- Provides thought leadership in one or more practice areas
- Develop processes, documentation, and standards
- Acts as technical lead on customer projects, with a strong grasp of technology dependencies
- Quickly adapts to new technical areas
- Proactively collaborates with internal and external teams
- Solves complex problems efficiently and recommends improvements
- Guides customers in evaluating features and suggests additional solutions
- Escalates issues and communicates progress to stakeholders effectively
- Effectively manages assigned work and priorities in alignment with project schedules and actively contributes to project planning and execution
Preferred Professional Licenses/Certifications- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
- Microsoft SC-200 / MS-500 / AZ-500
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Comparable Cloud certifications
Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience

Salaries for Consultants at Planet Technologies range from $120,000 and $210,000. Several factors will impact final pay offered to a successful candidate including but not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, clearance level, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, training, etc.
