Summary:
This position is the primary role for the sustainment of C5ISR equipment on Army Vessels.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing of electronic circuits and systems, utilizing advanced testing methodologies and equipment to validate designs and identify areas for optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Identify potential risks and challenges early in the development process, implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and firmware engineers, as well as other stakeholders, to integrate electronic systems seamlessly into overall product architecture and functionality.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and compliance reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in electronic engineering technologies and methodologies, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
This senior position requires an engineering or technical degree with 4 years27 experience working with at least 3 of the following: Navigational Radars, satellite comminution systems, integrated bridge systems, C5ISR equipment, and GMDSS.
- 10 years of experience in electronics can be substituted for the degree requirement.
- This position must have overall system level expertise pertaining to the C5ISR assets installed on Army Vessels/Platforms.
- Must possess and maintain secret security clearance and passport.
- Must service Army Watercraft vessels in locations worldwide.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140,000.00 to $146,000.00 annually.
