Full Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Senior Electric Superintendent is for the overall management of assigned ColonialWebb projects. This responsibility includes the day-to-day management of the job site teams. The Senior Electrical Superintendent is solely responsible for ensuring that all services performed within are in accordance with applicable contractual documents and company budget objectives, as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of our teammates. The Senior Electrical Superintendent will perform the essential duties for multiple projects and large-scale projects.

A day in the life:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned trade/craft workers
  • Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
  • Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for successful project completion
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of installation
  • Review and release ColonialWebb Shop Drawings and Spool Drawings for timely field installation
  • Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Teach, coach and guide teammates to ensure that they work safely and productively
  • Perform trade-specific duties as needed with the ability to direct work of all other trades
  • Ensure appropriate teammates are participating in predictive reporting; audit 5 x 5s and pre-task plans for compliance; hold teammates accountable for these actions
  • Monitor and control manpower and tools to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and provide oversight of inventory activities
  • Schedule material and equipment deliveries to maintain project schedule
  • Attend meetings as required for the project
  • Complete daily reports, upload photos and find necessary documents


You should have:
  • Possess at least 10 years' industry experience, including supervisory experience
  • Possess extensive experience in handling personnel issues
  • Possess excellent electrical, administrative and analytical skills
  • Possess OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Possess or demonstrate ability to obtain Competent Person certification
  • Ability to read and understand project related documents in the English language
  • Ability to handle day-to-day tasks relating to work assignments and asset management
  • Ability to use current technology (i.e., computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM)
  • Demonstrate foresight and problem-solving skills to make sound business decisions
  • Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy, make strategic decisions based on measurable criteria and comprehend technical data
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary
  • Travel: Occasional travel to offsite meetings, regional offices, and jobsites, mostly during the workday (rare overnight travel). Must possess a valid driver's license and able to safely travel throughout our region
