About the Role:Join a leadership-level electrical engineering role where you'll drive the execution of complex design projects from concept through completion. This position plays a key role in shaping electrical solutions for industrial, infrastructure, and commercial facilities while leading multidisciplinary teams, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring project success across scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
Here's a glimpse into your day to day:- Individuals in this position are responsible for planning, organizing, and successfully completing multiple electrical engineering projects with minimal direction and supervision.
- As a Sr. Engineer, you will be expected to successfully lead medium and large design projects with the assistance of a team of engineers and designers.
- This position receives general administrative direction from the Electrical Division Manager and technical support and training from the Chief Engineer.
- Leading multiple mid-size and large design projects.
- Directing other engineers and designers for preparation of drawings and reports.
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects.
- Functioning as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various projects and teams.
- Collaborating and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Researching applicable codes and industry standards.
- Interpreting codes and collaborating with other design professionals as needed.
- Preparing engineering analysis and reports, including conditions assessment.
- Overseeing development of preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
- Creating engineering specifications Performing design quality control, monitoring progress, and notifying managers of scope changes.
You'll be a perfect fit if you have: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university within Electrical Engineering or other applicable field of study. Master's Degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer licensure is preferred.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of electrical design experience, with a strong focus on industrial, infrastructure, or large commercial projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading engineers and designers for creation of drawings and performing engineering calculations.
- Experience in specifying, designing systems for industrial, power, oil & gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, mission critical, food & beverage facilities with significant expertise in at least one of the core industries served by TAI
- Working knowledge of and ability to specify Electrical Component (switchgear, switchboards, transformers, etc.) and Field Devices (combination starters, VFD's, etc.)
- Experience designing, reviewing and approving Electrical Construction Drawing sets including but not limited to single lines, grounding plans, lighting plans, and power location plans, Experience with generator sizing software.
- Experience performing arch flash, short circuit, coordination, power factor, and/or harmonic analysis.
- Ability to professionally interact with customers to gather critical information.
- Manage design of all levels of complexity including other electrical resources.
- Manage existing customer relationships.
- Working Knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive work attitude, and willingness to learn new skills.

Compensation and Benefits:- Pay: $120,000-175,000 annually (depending upon experience).
