Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Henderson, NV

The Electrical Engineer will provide electrical engineering leadership and technical oversight for the Arthur Gold Project Feasibility Study. Lead development of power distribution, electrical infrastructure, and facility electrical systems while ensuring safe, reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions aligned with project objectives.

Your role
  • Lead all electrical engineering activities for the study, including power distribution, substations, transmission interconnections, plant electrical systems, and auxiliary facilities.
  • Develop and review electrical design criteria, load lists, single-line diagrams, and electrical equipment specifications.
  • Prepare electrical capital cost inputs, design assumptions, execution strategies, and study deliverables.
  • Coordinate electrical interfaces with process, mechanical, layout, instrumentation, controls, water, tailings, and infrastructure teams.
  • Support development and evaluation of power supply alternatives, utility interconnection requirements, and grid integration strategies.
  • Participate in risk assessments, value improvement initiatives, trade-off studies, and constructability reviews.
  • Provide technical oversight for engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, and specialist electrical subcontractors.
  • Support development of project schedules, discipline budgets, and resource plans.
  • Lead electrical discipline reviews and provide quality assurance for all electrical deliverables.
  • Represent the electrical discipline during client meetings, workshops, and technical review sessions.
  • Support transition from feasibility study into basic engineering and project execution phases.


About you

  • 15-20+ years of electrical engineering experience supporting mining, minerals processing, or major industrial facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as Electrical Lead on PFS, FS, FEED, and EPCM projects.
  • Strong experience with medium- and high-voltage power systems, substations, motor control centers, power distribution, and plant electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience evaluating utility connections, transmission systems, and power supply alternatives.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design standards, equipment specifications, and industry codes applicable to mining projects.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams within a study or project environment.
  • Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is preferred.
  • Gold processing plant and mine-site electrical infrastructure experience is strongly preferred.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $130,700 - $165,700 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
