Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience, preferably in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency with industrial automation systems including Rockwell Automation and Beckhoff PLCs.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD (Electrical/Mechanical) or Inventor required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold a zero-incident safety culture across engineering and maintenance operations.
• Develop and refine safety protocols in collaboration with the Safety Department.
• Review and approve controlled technical documentation annually to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) initiatives and audits.
• Draft comprehensive Scope of Work (SOW) documents for vendor bidding.
• Create detailed project schedules, costing spreadsheets, and equipment layouts.
• Manage external contractors during maintenance and major capital projects.
