Key Responsibilities- Develop and review electrical design packages: power distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS, and busway
- Ensure electrical designs meet capacity, redundancy, and code requirements across sites
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and commissioning on integrated system design
- Support constructibility reviews and RFI resolution during construction and site selection
- Act as electrical SME in client/tenant design reviews and technical due diligence sessions as needed, translating design decisions into terms a non-engineering client audience can act on
- Mentor junior electrical engineers on the design team
Qualifications- 7+ years in electrical design engineering for mission-critical or data center facilities
- PE license preferred; strong knowledge of medium/low-voltage distribution and backup power systems
- Experience with busway, RPP, and high-density rack power distribution a plus
- Comfortable presenting design rationale directly to clients or tenants, not just to internal engineering peers
- Comfortable working across multiple concurrent site designs
Compensation$135,000 - $180,000
Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws
