In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of drainage solutions for a variety of transportation infrastructure projects throughout Florida, with a strong focus on supporting theFlorida Department of Transportation (FDOT)and other public-sector clients.

Whatyoullbe challenged to do:
Youllsupport transportation and infrastructure projects by preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, drainage designs, andpermittingdocuments. Your work will involve hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management design, and ensuring compliance with FDOT and local standards.
In this capacity, the successful candidate willbe responsible forthe following:
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, andpermittingdocuments.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, including stormwater collection system analysis.
- Develop stormwater management designs and obtain permits in compliance with state and local regulations.
- Perform reviews of drainage designs, plans, and reports for FDOT and municipal transportation projects.
- Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable FDOT standards and guidelines.
Whatyou willbring to our firm:
- Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, or Transportation Engineering (ora related field).
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
- 10+ years of experience in drainage design for highway and roadway projects.
- Pump Station and Deep Well experience
- Proficient inOpenRoadsDesigner.
- Strong knowledge of FDOT Design Manual, Standard Plans, and Drainage Manual.
What we prefer you bring:
- Prior experience on FDOT District 6 (D6) projectsstronglypreferred.
Compensation:
Therange for this position is salary rangeis $150,000 6 $185,000 per year. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
