Job Description

The Senior Distribution Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and executing Signature Aviation's distribution strategy to maximize revenue growth, customer engagement, and channel effectiveness across the global network. This role will lead the evaluation, optimization, and expansion of distribution channels, including strategic partnerships with third-party schedule distributors, aggregators, and emerging aviation marketplaces.

The Senior Manager will work cross-functionally with Revenue Management, Marketing, Digital, Guest Experience, Operations, Finance, and Business Development teams to ensure distribution investments and decisions related to consumption or distribution of data align with Signature's growth objectives, customer experience standards, and profitability targets.

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, business model design, negotiation, relationship management, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy that supports Signature Aviation's commercial and growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market penetration, customer acquisition and engagement through existing and emerging distribution channels.
  • Assess channel performance and recommend strategic investments, enhancements, or rationalization initiatives.
  • Evaluate industry trends, competitive developments, and customer behaviors to inform channel strategy decisions.
  • Lead strategic relationships with key distribution partners, aviation marketplaces, charter operators, brokers, and technology providers.
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams to negotiate commercial agreements and partnership structures.
  • Develop reporting and analytical frameworks to monitor channel performance, customer acquisition costs, revenue contribution, and profitability.
  • Utilize data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize channel mix.
  • Build business cases and financial models supporting strategic distribution initiatives.
  • Present recommendations and performance insights to senior leadership.
  • Support initiatives that improve customer journey consistency across all distribution touchpoints, and offer insight into which, if any, capabilities should remain proprietary to direct channels.
  • Monitor industry innovations and emerging technologies impacting aviation distribution.


Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning and/or distribution strategy, preferably within the aviation, airport services, or travel and hospitality sectors.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate complex business relationships and the long-term implications of those business models.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts across the company.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, writing, and negotiation skills, with experience managing teams across multiple geographies.


Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, commercial planning, distribution, business development, revenue management, consulting, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing channel or distribution strategies.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business case development skills.
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational alignment.


Preferred
  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience within aviation, travel, hospitality, transportation, marketplace, or platform-based industries.
  • Familiarity with digital commerce, customer acquisition strategies, and channel economics.
  • Experience working with CRM, business intelligence, and analytics platforms.
